THE USSR STATE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA & CHOIR conducted by YEVGENI SVETLANOV The Battle For Russia Oratorio (Amazing 1967 Russian only 12-track double LP featuring the mammoth work inspired by the events unfolding after Operation Barbarossa & thedrive for the Caucasus & the Baku oil fields that ultimately led to Moscow being held & the turning point of Stalingrad in 1942. The front laminated gatefold picture sleeve has notes inside in both Cyrillic & English & remains in wonderful condition, showing minimal shelfwear. The vinyl itself is immaculate and shows little sign of play C01421-4)
