DOMINIC CORTESE Accordion Italy (1962 UK 13-track mono LP, also featuring Phil Bodner on Woodwinds, Frank Carroll on Bass, Phil Kraus, Harry Bauer & Bob Rosengarden on Percussion and Don Arnone, Mr. Guitar & Mr. X on Guitars & Mandolins, frontlaminated flipback picture sleeve. The session Accordion player of choice from 1950 to 2000 for anyone who recorded in New York, Don worked with them all including Bob Dylan, Elvis Presley & Billy Joel. One of the pseudonyms for 'Mr. X' or 'Mr. Guitar' will almost certainly be Al Caiola, with the other probably Tony Mottola. The sleeve shows minimal shelfwear & the vinyl remains in VG+/EX- condition with just a few light surface hairlines to show for its fifty years OT2531)
