Pressed by Festival way back in 1969, this 9-track stereo LP variant has 'SampleRecord' stickered silver on green Atlantic 'fan' labels, but the fun doesn't stop there, oh no. The sleeve is one of a kind, unique to Australia, with 'Stereo' in a box underneath the band name on the front laminated flipback picture sleeve. Yes, flipback. The back of the sleeve is devoted to a history of the band written by June Harris & a biography of the individual members. The usual happy faces artwork is completely missing & replaced by this page of unique text. If you're not convinced yet, but still want more, let me tell you that the sleeve remains white, unscuffed, unstained, near as new. The vinyl ? Yep. Also near 'as new' with maybe the odd fly footprint here and there but not much else. A staggering copy of this EXTREMELY rare Oz pressing! SAL-933,232)
