ELVIS PRESLEY & JANIS MARTIN Janis And Elvis (1986 French limited edition issue of the very rare 1958 South African 8-track 10" vinyl LP that was originally withdrawn the day after issue, picture sleeve reproducing the original album artwork.Issued to attempt to recover Janis' royalties, it was released on a Friday & by Saturday afternoon, Colonel Tom had somehow gotten word, called RCA and made Them pull it because: #1 - NOBODY performs with Elvis & No. 2 - It was called 'Janis and Elvis' & not 'Elvis and Janis'! The sleeve shows minimal shelfwear & the vinyl remains excellent with few signs of play NJ89673)
