GENE VINCENT Gene Vincent Rocks! And The Blue Caps Roll (Very scarce 1958 first UK issue 12-track mono LP on the turquoise Capitol label [this one was quickly re-pressed on the rainbow rim label], fully laminated scalloped flipback picture sleeve. Gene tones it down slightly on this one after a line-up change, but it only helps to emphasis the performance, the amazing fifties sound production, the amazing songs! The sleeve shows just a little age yellowing and the inevitable stressingat the opening & the vinyl remains in excellent condition with few signs of play. Sounds absolutely stunning! T970)
