VARIOUS-BLUES & GOSPEL Piano Singer's Blues (1979 US 16-track LP, heavyweight pasted sleeve. This was the third release for the label that was started by Rosetta Reitz (1924–2008), an American feminist and jazz historian, all releases relatedto female jazz and blues musicians. This collection focuses on rare recordings by female blues pianists from the '30s through to late '50s. The sleeve shows some shelfwear and a small crease in the top left hand corner whilst the vinyl looks barely played RR1303)
