It's Time - 1st - NY

JACKIE MCLEAN It's Time (Scarce 1964 US mono vinyl LP, with 'New York USA' address, 'Van Gelder' machine stamp & 'ear' etchings in the run-out. Also stars Charles Tolliver, Herbie Hancock, Cecil McBee & Roy Haynes, recorded right in the middleof Blue Note's most cutting edge period, straddling free jazz & post bop to stunning effect. The pasted heavy duty sleeve is in VG- condition at best. There is some discolouring & paper loss at the edges, however both panels remain clear & legible. The heavyweight vinyl has been cleaned & play tested & the sonics are remarkable. There are a few visible spindle marks on the labels & a couple of hairline scuffs but these have little effect on play. Play back is excellent & comes highly recommended! BLP4179)
