HONEY CONE Honeycone (1970 UK 11-track stereo vinyl LP on the Hot Wax label, one of three soul labels set-up in Detroit, Michigan, during 1969 by Brian Holland, Edward Holland, Jr. & Lamont Dozier (the result of the trio leaving Motown, following disputes over royalties). Better known as Take Me With You, this album is a must for fans of female soul from Detroit! Despite a small half inch thumbnail tear at the opening, the sleeve is otherwise in superb condition & the vinyl reveals only light signs of play SHW5002)
