DUKE ELLINGTON The 1949 Band Salutes Ellington '90 (1987 Canadian only 13-track Special Release LP by the Toronto Duke Ellington Society, featuring material recovered from rare radio broadcast performances by the band in February 1949at the Hollywood Empire in California, featuring Russell Procope, Ben Webster, Wendell Marshall, Ray Nance, Jimmy Hamilton and Harry Carney amongst others, complete with fold-out narrative insert, picture sleeve. This LP was only made available to members of the Canadian DES & was never available for retail sale. The sleeve shows a small scrape to the spine & front, however otherwise shows little wear and the vinyl is in near mint condition)
