VARIOUS JAZZ Gene Norman's Jazz Concerts (1980 UK 18-track triple LP, pulling together the recordings from the 'Just Jazz' concerts of 1947 & 1948 in Pasadena, featuring a star studded line up including Charlie Barnet, Benny Carter, Nat King Cole, Vic Dickenson, Erroll Garner, Stan Getz, Wardell Gray, Pete Johnson, Dodo Marmarosa, Red Norvo. Arnold Ross, Charlie Shavers & more, freed from the confines of the studio & allowed to let rip. The internal pocket gatefold picture sleeve shows some shelfwear whilst the vinyl is Near Mint. Still unreleased on CD, this little lot will save you the bother of trying to track down the extremely expensive 10" recordings that were released in the fifties.
