THAD JONES / FRANK WESS / TEDDY CHARLES / MAL WALDRON / DOUG WATKINS / ELVIN JONES Olio (Rare 1957 UK 6-track LP by a Jazz 'supergroup' recorded by Rudy Van Gelder on February 16th that year, unique fully laminated flipback picture sleeve with sleeve notes by Ira Gitler on the reverse. The flimsy sleeve remains in remarkable condition with minimal shelfwear & just a little laminate lift at the spine and some minor age yellowing to show for its fifty five years. The vinyl too remains in excellent condition with very little evidence of play & still remains in the original poly inner. Complete & probably as good a copy as you are ever likely to find of this extremely rare LP!)
