Mastodon prove once again on this release why they arethe best metal band on the planet, and up their game even further by throwing a curveball and straying from their prog metal past to a more direct Heavy Metal route. Tracks like Curl Of The Burl, and Stargasm sound huge, and are straight up Black Sabbath worship with a Southern Rock groove. Arguably one of the best metal releases in recent times, and this collectors item is not to be missed out on!)
