ART PEPPER QUINTET Smack Up (70s US issue of the 1962 6-track stereo LP, featuring Jack Sheldon, Pete Jolly, Jimmy Bond & Frank Butler. This was Pepper's next-to-last album before his lengthy spell away from recording, counting bars in prisonrather than the studio. A must-own for the West Coast jazz enthusiast. The pasted picture sleeve shows faint ringwear scuffs and age discoloration/foxing to the back & the vinyl looks barely played S7602)
