DAVID BOWIE Space Oddity (Scarce original 1969 UK Philips 2-track STEREO 7" vinyl demo single, also including Wild Eyed Boy From Freecloud. The labels are white with a large red outline 'A' on the top side and 'Not For Sale' text printed on both sides. As this issue is [unusually for the time] in stereo, the regular mono text has been blocked out with 'stereo' inserted below. The original Philips commercial release was only issued in MONO format in the UK; however, a tiny handfulof STEREO demos were pressed and distributed to key promotional personnel in the UK music industry. The original three prong push-out centre remains intact with the labels having only some minor discolouration. The vinyl is excellent with two small marks on the A-side and just a couple of light surface scuffs of the B-side. An wonderful copy of this legendary Bowie rarity! BF1810)
