DIANA ROSS Workin' Overtime (Scarce 1989 UK metal mother stamper for Side One of Diana's 'Workin' Overtime' album including Say We Can, Take The Bitter With The Sweet, Bottom Line, This House and the title track. Mothers are a metal version of the finished record and are limited to less than a handful for any given release, this would have normally have been destroyed once the production run was complete. Comes complete with the fully produced tracklisting label attached to the correctcentral position on the disc, a very unusual and stunning collectable which would look great framed, must have for any Diana Ross fan!) **See More Info for further details on 'Stampers'**

PLATING

Plating refers to the process of making metal stampers from Lacquer. The Lacquers are silver coated and electroplated to make a negative image of the record in the 'male & female' sense, meaning the grooves in the plates are raised where the grooves in the records are etched.

Plating then involves making 'Mothers' from the stampers. 'Mothers' are a metal version of the finished record and are limited to less than a handful for any given release.
