VARIOUS One Night With Blue Note Preserved (1985 Japanese promotional 28-track 4-LP box set of live recordings from the historic Town Hall concert that year, which launched the rebirth in the eighties of America's coolest jazz label, starring everyone from Herbie Hancock, Freddie Hubbard, Joe Henderson to Cecil Taylor, Art Blakey, Kenny Burrell, Tony Williams & more. Each part is housed in its own promo stickered picture sleeve with respective fold-out illustrated insert. Complete with a double-sided promo flyer & a wide centred vinyl 7" containing Alfred Lion's speech from the concert, the whole package comes housed in a 12" square box with promo sticker & wraparound obi-strip. The packaging shows some signs of 'foxing' but otherwise remains Excellent & the vinyl appears near 'as new' BNJX-91006~9)
