COLEMAN HAWKINS SEXTET Hawk Eyes (Rare 1961 UK original 5-track mono LP, recorded in 1959 with Charlie Shavers, Tiny Grimes, Ray Bryant, George Duvivier & Osie Johnson all proving to be highly compatible, housed in one of Esquire's inventive sleeve design variants and pressed on superior heavyweight vinyl. This copy originates from the private collection of a former staff member for Dobells record shop in Charing Cross. The front laminated flipback sleeve has small areas of laminate lift/loss in the bottom corners, with a small amount of print loss to the bottom right corner, whilst on the reverse the top & bottom flipbacks are missing a small portion of paper which overlaps the vertical laminated area, however all in all the cover remains clear & striking. The vinyl shows just the odd light cosmetic mark here or there and the pristine nature of the labels suggest that it has seen very little play at all)
