CHAMPION JACK DUPREE From New Orleans To Chicago (Scarce early 70s German issue of the 1966 14-track MONO LP on the red boxed Decca logo label, a musical and historical journey of the blues on record. Joining Champion Jack on this outing is a stellar cast made up of John Mayall [harmonica], Eric Clapton [guitar], Tony McPhee [guitar], Malcolm Pool [bass], Keef Harley [drums] and Bill Shortt [washboard]. The fully laminated sleeve [with extensive sleeve notes in English] shows some ageyellowing, some laminate splitting at the seams & a fair amount of general wear & would be graded VG. The vinyl, by contrast, is in extremely good condition with just a couple of light hairline marks to show for its forty years. A nice copy of this great album at an advantageous price! SLK16599-P)
