ELVIS PRESLEY Viva Elvis (Official 2010 Japanese RCA 12-track promotional CD-R acetate of the album which originates from the Cirque du Soleil show of the same name. This postmodern studio masterwork invokes the spirit and essence of Elvis from a contemporary perspective, while furthering the revolutionary impulses of Elvis' sound. The album re-imagines the king's own vocal performances in a broad variety of new musical settings, from Delta blues to rockabilly, from raw soul to gospel, from Southern folk to Vegas pop, while incorporating elements of garage rock, punk, urban and hip-hop. Custom silver and black printed disc with a miniature image of the album artwork and the catalogue number SDCI81063)
