CANNONBALL ADDERLEY QUINTET Country Preacher (1969 Japanese 6-track live LP, the first with Bassist Walter Booker as part of the quintet, which also includes Nat Adderley on Cornet & Vocals, Joe Zawinul on Keyboards & Roy McCurdy on Drums. Recorded at an unidentified church meeting of the Chicago chapter of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference's 'Operation Breadbasket', the introduction is by the Reverend Jesse Jackson. The Japanese insert on this copy shows just a little foxing, the gatefold picture sleeve just a little light edge scuffing & the vinyl is flawless - complete with rare obi-strip! CP-8932)
