METALLICA The Day That Never Comes (Rare official 2008 US WEA label 1-track promotional CD-R acetate for the first single taken from the Death Magnetic album, featuring the Radio - WEA mastering -1.0db version. When the album was launched there was huge criticism regarding production from the fans and media, the album has compromised sound quality due to an overly compressed dynamic range with audible clipping & distortion, the sonic problems are not present in the 'Guitar Hero III' game version. This disc was approved on the 23rd August 2008 from 1:23am [over a month before the album was due to be released], although the sound is similar to that of the final album version it does not sound as distorted. Custom printed stickered disc complete with a custom studio title inlay)
