HERBIE HANCOCK Thrust (2009 UK/EU 4-track LP, remastered and pressed on 180-gram audiophile vinyl. Originally released in 1974 this album directly followed Head Hunters and Herbie used the same band except for drummer Harvey Mason, whois replaced by jazz great Mike Clark. Again, only four songs on this single LP, each around 10 minutes long. Butterfly is a great spacey jam with intricate twists and turns and the intro drum break of Palm Grease is essential for all groove addicts! Picture sleeve replicates the original Rob Springett artwork, hype sticker and resealable clear outer. Essential)
