OLIVIA NEWTON JOHN 40/40 Best Selection (2010 Japanese promo sample issue of the exclusive limited edition 41-track digitally remastered 2-disc SHM-CD [Super High Material CD - playable on all CD players] compilation album, issued to radio stations and reviewers ahead of the actual release. Commemorating Olivia's 40th anniversary as a performer, featuring material selected by her fans, including the bonus recording Come On Home. Custom stamped inner rim on each disc completewith picture sleeve, lyrics, promo stickered wrap-around full back obi-strip. There is a slight crease on the back of the obi, where is has previously been folded, otherwise this copy is in near mint condition UICY-91707/8)

The SHM-CD [Super High Material CD] format features enhanced audio quality through the use of a special polycarbonate plastic. Using a process developed by JVC and Universal Japan discovered through the joint companies' research into LCD display manufacturing, SHM-CDs feature improved transparency on the data side of the disc, allowing for more accurate reading of CD data by the CD player laser head. SHM-CD format CDs are fully compatible with standard CD players.
