DEEP PURPLE Made In Europe (2008 Japanese promotional sample issue of the exclusive limited edition 5-track digitally remastered SHM-CD [Super High Material CD - playable on all CD players] album, issued to radio stations and reviewers ahead of the actual release. Originally released in 1976 and recorded live on 4th April 1975 in Graz, Austria, 5th April 1975 in Saarbrücken, Germany, & 7th April 1975 in Paris. Custom stamped inner rim on the disc housed in a miniature reproduction ofthe original gatefold album artwork with fold-out Japanese & English lyric sheets & retro promo stickered 'Pick up your music' obi-strip WPCR-13118)

The SHM-CD [Super High Material CD] format features enhanced audio quality through the use of a special polycarbonate plastic. Using a process developed by JVC and Universal Music Japan discovered through the joint companies' research into LCD display manufacturing, SHM-CDs feature improved transparency on the data side of the disc, allowing for more accurate reading of CD data by the CD player laser head. SHM-CD format CDs are fully compatible with standard CD players.
