JOHN LEE HOOKER With John Mayall And The Groundhogs (1972 US 11-track vinyl LP - a great copy of the curious release from the blues giant. Recorded in late 1964/early 1965, these recordings were originally released as ...And Seven Nights, on Verve in 1965; they were then issued as On The Waterfront by the Wand label in 1970. It's always been known that Hooker used The Groundhogs extensively as a backing band, but this 1972 edition is the only issue we've found to credit another blues great, John Mayall. The vinyl is in great condition and the sleeve is absolutely flawless, as clean as when it was first printed - a truly unique item CH-82871)
