CHROME Alien Soundtracks (2009 US exclusive limited edition 10-track vinyl LP, originally released in 1978 as the group's 2nd longplayer - Chrome emerged from the topor of mid 70s San Francisco, with a sound unlike any other group, incorporating some of the darker elements of the previous decade's experimental elements, aligned with a distinctly lo-fi take on the then newly emerging punk and new wave scene; guitarist Helios Creed developed a sound that could best be describedas 'acidic', firing off squalling metallic shards of sound, while founder Damon Edge used primitive synths to further disturb the senses! This album must be heard to be believed!)
