Black Metal

VENOM Black Metal (2009 issue UK Deluxe Edition 2-disc [CD/DVD] set - Originally released in 1982, Venom's most important release, 'Black Metal', gained the band recognition and tilted the Heavy Metal world off its axis, inspiring countless of disciples to pick-up the gauntlet and blaze their own trail down the brightly lit pathway scorched by the grooves of this masterpiece. Comprising a 22-track CD album containing the original 12-track album expanded with 11 Bonus Recordings consisting of a Radio One Session, outtakes, 12" remixes and the 7" single, 'Bloodlust'. However, the piece-de-resistance comes with a DVD of the monumental live show, 'The 7th Date Of Hell' filmed at London's Hammersmith Odeon in 1984. This breathtaking period performance puts the viewer on the stage with the original line-up as they burn through a set of demonically charged barbs, reducing the stage to matchwood in an eruption of flame-throwing pyrotechnical ecstasy; along with the 'Bloodlust', 'Nightmare' & 'Witching Hour' music videos. Presented in a gatefold packaging complete with a 16-page booklet containing previously unseen photos and images of rare memorabilia)
