DAVID LINDUP When The Saints Go (Rare original 1970 UK 12-track LP commemorating the un-Sainting of several Saints by the Vatican by edict in 1969, including St George & St Christopher amongst others. So what do you do when the patron saint of your island has just been rubbed out? Why, you gather together a large bunch of talented mates of the calibre of Kenny Wheeler & Mike Gibbs along with many others & record an album! Apart from being a mighty fine album at that, it is also gracedwith an inventive front laminated picture sleeve & sleeve notes by the late John Dankworth on the back. The sleeve has an area of its bottom flipback missing but remains in otherwise excellent condition along with the vinyl AR1021)
