ART PEPPER QUINTET Smack Up (Scarce original 1962 UK issue 6-track mono LP, a deep groove pressing on Contemporary Records. Featuring Jack Sheldon, Pete Jolly, Jimmy Bond and Frank Butler, Smack Up was Pepper's next-to-last album before his lengthy spell away from recording, counting bars in prison rather than the studio, fully laminated flipback picture sleeve. The sleeve shows minimal wear and the vinyl is Excellent with very little sign of play - a truly stunning copy you're unlikely to see again anytime soon! LAC12316)
