CHARLES MINGUS SEXTET East Coasting (1971 Japanese issue of the 1957 6-track stereo LP, featuring five original Mingus compositions plus the standard Memories Of You, starring Jimmy Knepper, Clarence Shaw, Bill Evans, Shafi Hadi and Dannie Richmond. Despite a 2'' seam split to a bottom edge of the heavyweight gatefold picture sleeve, the sleeve remains in otherwise near mint condition with a clean and vivid print, a perfectly legible spine and crease free, original obi-strip included. What's more, 42 years on the vinyl looks unplayed! MP2139)
