THE DAVE BRUBECK QUARTET Gone With The Wind (Rare original 1959 US red and white Columbia label promotional demonstration copy of the 9-track MONO LP, the very first issue of the album. The label is red and white, stock copies being red and black, with the 6-eye logo printed around the rim and 'XLP47117-2D' and 'XLP47118-2B' machine-stamped into the dead wax on side A and B. These copies were issued to radio and journalists ahead of actual release. The vinyl appears to havebeen played onlyonce or twice for review purposes and then carefully stored. Apart from a name annotated by hand in the top left-hand corner on the back of the pasted picture sleeve, the sleeve is otherwise mint and the vinyl not far off, with just one or two incredibly light cosmetic surface marks visible under a bright light. These have no effect during play and is otherwise clean as a whistle - all in all, a marvellous copy! CL1347)
