ALICE COLTRANE Transfiguration (Original 1978 US Warner Bros label 7-track double LP, featuring Alice in a powerhouse trio with Reggie Workman on bass and Roy Haynes drums, recorded in performance at Schoenberg Hall, UCLA on the 16th of April, 1978. Includes One For The Father with Spoken Introduction plus a gorgeous overdubbed string section on the third piece entitled Prema. The gatefold picture sleeve, with saw-cut corner, reveals a little storage wear through time but remains excellent, while both vinyl discs are MINT - a nice play copy at an advantageous price! 2WB3218)
