LENA HORNE Lena, Lovely And Alive (1962 UK 12-track mono LP on the 'Silver Spot' label, a lovely vocal performance from Lena with powerful arranging and conducting talents by Marty Paich which add a great depth to a number of popular standards ofthe era including the confessional numbers I Surrender Dear, I Let A Song Go Out Of My Head and I Only Have Eyes For You, front laminated flipback picture sleeve. The sleeve shows just a little light shelfwear with some age yellowing to the unlaminated back & the vinyl is superb with just a couple of light cosmetic hairlines visible upon close inspection to show for nearly fifty years RD-7530)
