ILLINOIS JACQUET Swing's The Thing (Exclusive 2003 Japanese limited edition 24-bit digitally remastered 6-track CD album, originally released in 1956 and featuring Roy Eldridge on trumpet, Jimmy Jones piano, bassist Ray Brown, Herb Ellis on guitar and Jo Jones keeping rhythm. Issued as part of Verve's 'Relaxin' Horns' series and superbly presented in a mini LP-style front pasted picture sleeve with obi-strip and fold-out info sheet replicating the English album notes in Japanese UCCV-9128)
