EWAN MACCOLL AND PEGGY SEEGER The Wanton Muse (1968 UK yellow Argo label 19-track MONO vinyl LP, sung by Ewan and accompanied by Peggy on appalachian dulcimer, English concertina, guitar, and 5-string banjo, with additional backing chorus fromDenis Turner, John Faulkner and Terry Yarnell. A beautiful folk record on the collectable Argo label [Shirley Collins, Michael Garrick...] focussing on the theme of desire. Housed in a front laminate picture sleeve with striking artwork, complete with lyric booklet. The sleeve displays only light wear and vinyl looks barely played! Recommended DA85)
