COUNT BASIE Count Basie And His Orchestra (1957 UK Brunswick label 12-track mono LP, with vocals by James Rushing, a regular with the band ever since it started. All the numbers in this recording come from the early Basie period, a band full of fabulous names and unsurpassed playing, including Buck Clayton, Lester Young and many more, captured between 1937 and 1939, front laminated picture sleeve with scalloped flipbacks. The sleeve shows light wear with a catalogue annotation to the reverse, whilst the vinyl is Excellent with little sign of play LAT8028)
