ZOOT SIMS AND BOB BROOKMEYER Tonight's Jazz Today (Original 1956 UK white and magenta Vogue Records label 8-track heavyweight microgroove vinyl LP, with the valve-trombonist and tenor sax [and vocal] duo backed by Hank Jones, Wyatt Ruther, andGus Johnson recorded in New York City on February, 1956. Front and back laminated, with clarifoil, flipback picture sleeve which shows some slight ring wear, a little laminate 'chipping' along the opening edge with clean rear panel and fullyintact flipbacks, the vinyl has only very minor hairlines, one paper scuff and a couple of axial marks, still achieving an Excellent grade sixty-seven years on!
