DEEP PURPLE Shades Of Deep Purple (2006 US limited edition 8-track LP pressed on PURPLE VINYL, originally released in 1968 - this was the first longplayer from the group, prior to Ian Gillan and Roger Glover joining in 1969; at this stage they weren't the hugely successful rock giants they were soon to become, although they were very popular in the US, and spent most of their time touring there, featuring amazing reworkings of 'Hey Joe' and 'Help' [Beatles], plus their US #4 smash hit 'Hush', sealed & stickered picture sleeve T-102)
