GERRY MULLIGAN Meets Ben Webster (2006 German issue 6-track LP pressed on 180gram VIRGIN VINYL; 2 highly sensitive, top calibre musicians were invited into the studio towards the end of 1959, where they prepared themselves well, practicedtogether, and devoted themselves to 6 numbers in a relaxed atmosphere of mutual respect where neither attempted to blast away the other - the excellent recording technique of the Verve Studio in LA ensures that even 50 years later everysingle note played on baritone and tenor saxophones is sheer pleasure! Presented in sealed & stickered picture sleeve)
