SONNY ROLLINS QUARTET Saxophone Colossus (Incredible 1967 Dutch 5-track STEREO LP issue of the 1958 album also featuring Tommy Flanagan on Piano, Doug Watkins on Bass & Max Roach on Drums, front laminated flipback picture sleeve. The sleeve shows minimal edge scuffing or shelfwear & the vinyl - how does it sound? Let me tell you as I've just played it. Deep, rich, noiseless, negligible between track crackling. The couple of light surface marks that are visible on close inspectionare completely inaudible - This is an extraordinary copy! MPRS-3086)
