KATE BUSH Cathy (Extremely rare 1986 UK 7" x 10" high quality hessian bound hardback photobook by John Carder Bush - Kate's brother - featuring a superb selection of previously unpublished black & white photographs of Kate as a child around eight years old. This copy is in MINT condition and autographed on the inside front cover by John Carder Bush himself!!. The book is protected by an outer peach card slipcase and includes a copy of the original press release - Incredible!)

Privately pressed by a Kent printer, this Kindlight publication was originally going to be the first of a series of three books, depicting Kate first as a child, then a teenager, then as an adult.

The project was abandoned when her brother realised just how much Kate treasured her privacy & did not want to cause her upset by publishing further photos. This was the first & only one of the series to see the light of day.

The condition of this Special Edition hardback book & all pages is MINT. Absolutely as new.

Each photo is superbly mounted with the prior pages die cut with annotations from John about the picture & Kate at the time.

The inside cover facing page is autographed in black marker pen in a style similar to the 'Cathy' printed title and reads:

"To John
with best wishes
John Carder Bush"

The A4 single sided press release gives background information on the project and details of the mail-order address from where it was exclusively available.

The plain peach coloured outer card slipcase which protects the book, is in near mint condition itself with negligable scuffing.

A fascinating view through the looking glass at young a Cathy Bush growing up in & around Old Bexley.
