Each of the FIVE folders consist of a card backing with background layout, an annotated tracing paper overlay & a paper protective front sheet with an approval sticker that has to be seen to be believed!)

This fantastic set is five identical format, though vastly different sized, proof artwork folders.
Each is three sheets, a card back with a tracing paper overlay & a brown cover sheet with a very large custom sticker in black & fire orange for sign-off by various people. This has the most extraordinary disclaimer I've ever seen!

The set of five comprise :-

1. Sized 8" x 13½" this is the proof art for the 'Duets' CD single version that also featured Aretha Franklin, George Michael & Cliff Richard.

Backing sheet - Layout for the basics of the CD. This includes catalogue number & all text.

Top (Tracing Paper) sheet - This has rough hand drawn sketches of how the picture will fit in the layout with notes for dropshadows & inserts etc. Plus, in this case, a note to change the catalogue number as they used the one for the standard CD single !


2. Sized 8" x 13½" this is the proof art for the standard CD single version that also featured Understanding Women & Made For Me.

Backing sheet - Layout for the basics of the CD. This includes catalogue number & all text.

Top (Tracing Paper) sheet - This has rough hand drawn sketches of how the picture will fit in the layout with notes for dropshadows & inserts etc.

3. Sized 16" x 10½" this is the proof art for the 7" single version that also featured Understanding Women.

Backing sheet - Layout for the basics of the 7". This includes catalogue number & all text.

Top (Tracing Paper) sheet - This has rough hand drawn sketches of how the picture will fit in the layout with notes for dropshadows & inserts etc. Plus, in this case, a note to change the spelling of one of the names on the back.

4. Sized 17" x 15" this is the proof art for the 4 colour background image.

Backing sheet - Layout for the blue colour basics of the single with a photo transparent sheet with the final Elton & Eric picture in black & white overlaid.

Top (Tracing Paper) sheet - This has notes for the layout of the cover art in all formats.

5. Sized 27" x 17" this is the proof art for the main foreground image.

Backing sheet - Layout for the basic image of the single with text placement etc.

Top (Tracing Paper) sheet - This has notes for the layout of the cover art in all formats & a sketched image of Elton & Eric with instructions to reference the specific artwork for each format.
