JEAN-MICHEL JARRE La Cage (Ultra rare original 1971 French wide centred 7" vinyl single on the Pathé label, also including Erosmachine, housed in a the original flipback style card picture sleeve. This is his debut solo single, recorded in 1969 during his time at the Pierre Schaeffer's 'Groupe de Recherches Musicales' at Beaubourg. The tracks are two electronic shorts composed for 16 oscillators, percussion and a musical saw. The Rhythmic pattern from Erosmachine was reused in Chronologie part 2 in 1993. The fragile sleeve displays some minor general wear mostly to the edges and has some light creases. The A Side label has a small minor sticker mark other clean, whilst the vinyl has some minor surface scuffs, but we have play tested and still sounds fantastic, overall a Very Good example of this extremely hard to find pressing, rumoured to have less than 120 copies pressed!)
