AIR/ALESSANDRO BARRICO City Reading (2003 UK 18-track CD album) Baricco is a famous Italian writer known by his poetic style. In 2002 he asked Air to play during readings of one of his novels 'City'. The show in Rome's Teatro Valle was such asuccess that this record was made. The tracks are mixed by Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich and he adds just enough to keep the lyrical and cinematic mood alive. This is a beautiful mixture of music and literature.
