ELTON JOHN Elton John (1970 UK 10-track LP pressed on Translucent Purple Vinyl only visible when held up to a strong light source, gatefold picture sleeve with lyrics across the inner spread.The cause of the different colour tint was due to record companies reusing/recycling materials when the oil crisis happened, you will find there are three or different variants with the earlier pressing usually showing a colour tint & later issues being pureblack. The sleeve shows just some faint edge wear & the vinyl has only a couple of small cosmetic marks with light signs of play DJLPS406)
