THE GROUNDHOGS Blues Obituary (2009 US exclusive 7-track LP pressed on High Definition Virgin Vinyl, originally released in 1969 - 'Blues Obituary' finds the group beginning to stretch beyond traditional blues forms, as demonstrated on the seven-minute epic 'Light Was the Day', and marks the Groundhogs’ first effort as a power trio, the format in which the band would perform its most acclaimed and popular work. The sleeve shows a little shelfwear/creasing to back whilst the vinyl shows only light signs of play LP5271)
