THE EXITS Yodelling (Holy grail 1978 UK private press 7" vinyl punk rarity, the sole release by this super obscure five-piece that met at Keele University, Newcastle. Released in a numbered run of 500 [this copy is 163] on their own Way Out Records. It's a rip-snortin' 10 minutes with five blink and you'll miss 'em tracks that include the none-more-punk 'Apathy', the 100mph 'Glandular Angela' alongside three more noisy missives that bridge the gap between D.I.Y., street-punk and art-school [that'll be the scratchy violin and skronky sax!]. Housed in a wraparound paper sleeve with hand-stamped labels, the sleeve has held up remarkably well with just some very light wear, the vinyl too is superb with little evidence of play - a much in demand record in the punk collector's market that is rarely offered for sale, especially in such stunning condition - highly recommended WAYOUT1)
