TYRANNOSAURUS REX Unicorn (1969 UK first issue 16-track MONO LP, ten times more rare than its stereo counterpart, front laminated gatefold picture sleeve with lyrics inside. The sleeve

The soft colours of the front cover retain their richness and are allowed to shine through thanks to the clearness of the laminate which shows only a few minor creases to the sides; the reverse is likewise clean. The unlaminated inside of the gatefold shows just a little light discolouration to the edges and in the centre crease and the lyrics all remain clear. The sleeve shows just a little wear to the corners and all seams are secure and free from splits. The spine has a little inevitable laminate wear due to the opening & closing of the gatefold and the text is mostly visible, with just a little of it disappearing into the crease. A fantastic example graded as Excellent.

The Vinyl

The vinyl has been professionally cleaned and reveals light paper scuff and hairlines, none of which appear to be deep. There is also a few instances of light axial wear here or there, only really noticeable in close inspection. The label shows moderate spindle wear with no paper loss around the centre hole, leaving the label print nice & clear. The vinyl is graded as VG+/VG. A nice example of essential sixties folk-psych.
