THE BEATLES Love Me Do (Archive Quality 1962 UK Debut 7" single with red & silver Parlophone label & four prong centre, also including P.S. I Love You. Note, this label variant does not have the 'Made In Great Britain' print. Also of note to hardcore collectors, the 'Lennon-McCartney' songwriting credit for the b-side has no closing parenthesis & the matrices in the run-outs are machine stamped, both ending '1N'. The ZT tax code is stamped in the run-out, indicating a pressing madebefore November 1962 when the code changed to PT. This earliest matrix suffix means that Ringo plays drums & is a 'no tambourine' version. Obtained from a former record shop owner who hoarded records & never played them, the vinyl is stunning Near Mint. The labels appear near 'as new' with no marks or blemishes, complete with the original Parlophone company die-cut paper sleeve. Blue chip investment grade 45-R4949)
