THE BEATLES If I Fell (Extremely Rare UK 'Sold In U.K.' domestic issue 7" single, originally an EXPORT-only single. The single was originally intended exclusively for sale in other countries & initial pressings do not have the 'Sold In UK' print across the push-out centre. When British record stores began importing the export single for sale in the UK at prices above EMI's list price, EMI decided to make the single available in the UK in January 1965, & because the single would nowbe sold in Britain, these domestic pressings from 1965 have 'Sold In U.K.' on the labels. These were extremely LIMITED & to find one in today's climate is a hard push. We have never stocked one before! The label design is the familiar black & silver Parlophone label but with the 'SOLD IN U.K. SUBJECT TO RESALE PRICE CONDITIONS, SEE PRICE LISTS' print on the four-prong centre, machine stamped matrices in the run-outs ending '1N' & 'Tell Me Why' on the b-side. Complete with the die-cut Parlophone company sleeve, this is a lovely one owner copy. The vinyl is Excellent with merely the lightest spot of spindle marking by the centre hole to indicate play & no other concerns. One for the completist DP562)
